This mint sauce from Mogul cuisine is perfect addition to fried food [pakoras!], stuffed breads and pancakes. It will keep for a day in the refrigerator with the lid on.
Boil about 1 quart of water in a small saucepan. Pour in onions, remove saucepan from the kitchen stove. Let stand for 15 seconds. Drain water on the spot and rinse onions under cold water.
Place onions in a suitable bowl. Add all ingredients and mix well. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
Tip: It is best to use your favorite ham – then your dish will taste twice as good!
