Instructions:

Place the toasts on a baking sheet. Spread a little butter on each slice of bread.

For bacon toast, cover one of the prepared slices of bread with ham and a sheet of cheese, sprinkle this with diced onion, cover everything with another sheet of cheese and finish with a layer of chopped bacon.

For fried egg toast, first fry a fried egg. Top the second prepared slice of bread with a ham leaf and a cheese leaf as well. Place the finished fried egg on top.

Bake the bread in the oven with the grill function until the cheese has melted and the bread is lightly browned.

Preparation Tip:

For a particularly delicate toast variation, sprinkle chopped peppers (instead of onion) on the ham and cheese topping and place a slice of tomato on top, directly on the cheese slice, before baking.
