For the burgers, slice the tomatoes and cucumber. Heat the grill. Cut the burger buns into pieces. If you like, you can spread them thinly with butter.

Peel the onion and cut into rings. Lightly fry half of the onions in oil and season with salt and pepper. Season the mince with salt and pepper and then form loafs out of it.

Place them on the hot grill and grill for about 5 minutes. Remove from the grill and place a slice of cheese on top. Now top the rolls – first the lettuce, then the minced loaf, onion rings, tomatoes and cucumber.

Finally, put ketchup and mayonnaise on top and you’re done!
