Remove the peel from all the fruit and cut into small pieces and infuse together with the spices, juice of one lemon and zest and the preserving sugar for three to four hours. Add raisins and make four minutes. Roast nuts without fat and add to the hot jam form with the rum. Fill into jars and seal.

Tip: Cook only with high quality spices – they are the be-all and end-all in a good dish!
