Knead the curd cheese, salt, vanilla, wholemeal flour, egg and light butter into a smooth dough and rest for a short time. Separate dough into 8- 10 pieces on the spot. Then press the dough level each, place the apricot inside and form into a dumpling. Put the dumplings in boiling, lightly salted water and cook for 15 minutes, until lightly boiling. In the meantime, heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the breadcrumbs in it. Roll the finished dumplings in the breadcrumb mixture and serve while still hot.
