Scale the fish, remove the innards and gills. Wash, season. With sharp kitchen knife, make 2 to 3 diagonal cuts on both sides down to the bones.

Heat oven to 250 degrees. Place about 3/4 of the lemon slices on bottom of a suitable oven-safe dish. Place fish on top. Sprinkle with coriander and paprika powder. Top with remaining lemon slices and drizzle with olive oil.

Place fish dish in oven and turn temperature down to 220 °C after 5 min. Depending on size, cook for 28 min (800 grams) to 35 min (1.5 kg). Serve directly to the table with long grain rice or couscous.
