A simple but delicious cake recipe:
Make a sponge mixture from the ingredients listed. Pour the dough into a springform pan lined with baking paper and bake.
Baking time: about 40 minutes at 175 degrees.
Cut the narrow upper layer of the base into small pieces and crumble them. Add a mound of chocolate shavings and mix. Whip the cream with cream stiffener and powdered sugar until very stiff. Drain the pineapple slices well and cut them very thin, fold them into the whipped cream. Grasp the base with springform pan rim, pour the pineapple cream on top. Spread the crumbs and shavings evenly over the top and press lightly until smooth. Decorate with chocolate shavings.
