For the In the spring, cut off the fresh, beautifully bright green tips of fir branches.rinse with cold water and dry well.
Then, in a large glass container (large rex jar) that can be tightly sealed, place a layer of fir tips. Put a layer of granulated sugar on top, then another layer of fir tips. Always press everything well together. Finish with a layer of sugar.
Then close the jar tightly and let it stand in a warm sunny place for 6-8 weeks.
Then filter through a sieve and fill into sterile vials.
The amount of Wipferln and sugar depends on the size of the jar – but you can not really go wrong here!
