A simple but delicious cake recipe:

1. mix baking mix and yeast. Add just under 3/8 liter of lukewarm water and knead together in about 3 min. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 15 min.

Remove the skin from the onions and cut into cubes. Clean, rinse and chop spring onions. Heat fat. Sauté onions and spring onions in batches for about 8 minutes, turning, seasoning.

Knead dough with a little flour and roll out on greased and floured baking pan (approx. 35×40 cm). Pull up the edge. Let rise for another 30 minutes.

Mix sour cream or crème fraiche and eggs, season. Spread all onions evenly on the dough. Pour the egg-sour cream or crème fraiche over it. Bake in hot oven (electric oven: 200 °C / convection oven: 175 °C / gas: level 3) for 35-40 min.

Drink: cool beer.

Preparation time: 1 3/4 hours.
