For the hunter’s meat, fry the finely chopped onion with the bacon cubes. Cut the meat into strips, salt, pepper, coat with mustard and then add to the onions and bacon.

Dust with flour and add water. Add the chopped pickles, bay leaf, marjoram, parsley and the stock cube and simmer for about 1 1/2 – 2 hours until soft.
