Instructions:

Cut rolls into slices, heat milk and pour over rolls. Remove the skin from the onion and cut into cubes. Finely dice bacon. Rinse parsley, shake dry and chop.

Heat butter, lightly sauté onion and parsley in it.

Rinse liver, dry and crush. Add squeezed bacon, onion, breadcrumbs-parsley salt, pepper, mix and marjoram and stir through. Bind with egg and breadcrumbs. Stand for 30 min.

Bring 3 liters of lightly salted water to a boil. Form dumplings with wet hands, put them into the water and let them bubble up once. If the dumplings come up, let them stand for another 15-20 min.

Garnish with chopped chives.

Serve with: sauerkraut

Our tip: Use bacon with a fine, smoky note!
