Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Beat eggs, sugar, butter until fluffy. Add flour and baking powder.

Add milk until the dough falls off the spoon with difficulty.

Pour 2/3 of the dough into the baking pan.

Stir 2 tablespoons cocoa and a dash of rum into the last third.

Pour the dark batter over the light batter in the mold. Stir a few times with a fork.

Bake at 180 °C for about 1 hour. Let the marble cake cool and cover with chocolate icing.

Preparation Tip:

The marble cake is particularly moist even without chocolate icing.
