Instructions:

For the marzipan shortbread, cream butter and sugar until fluffy, add egg and crushed marzipan and mix well. Mix flour, starch and baking powder and add to the butter-sugar mixture until smooth.

Using a piping bag and a star-shaped nozzle, pipe the cookies onto 2 baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake at 180 °C convection oven for approx. 12 minutes until light brown.

Once cooled, dip the marzipan cookies in chocolate icing.

Preparation Tip:

You can assemble the marzipan shortbread with 2 pieces with jam.
