Instructions:

For the meat strudel, heap flour on a board. Make a pit in the middle, add salt, vinegar, oil and 1 egg.

Mix and gradually incorporate water. Knead dough until silky smooth. Form loaves, place on a floured board, brush the surface with oil and let rest under a warm bowl for about half an hour.

For the filling, fry the onion in butter, add the minced meat, fry through and season with salt, pepper, thyme and marjoram.

Stir in parsley and breadcrumbs, let cool a bit and then stir in the egg. Preheat oven to 180 °C and grease a baking tray.

Pull out the strudel dough and spread three quarters of it with the meat mixture. Fold in the edges, roll up loosely, place on the baking tray and bake the meat strudel for 1 hour.

Preparation Tip:

Serve the meat strudel with a yogurt sauce.
