Put the minced meat in a suitable bowl. Rinse the long grain rice, drain and add to the meat. Remove the peel from the onion and grate it to the meat. Add half of the eggs, salt and pepper and knead everything together well. Form balls the size of walnuts from the mixture.

In a wide saucepan, bring the water to a boil with the butter and salt (1). Carefully put in the balls. Cook at low temperature for about 20 minutes. Remove from the heat.
