Instructions:

First, line a baking tray with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 180 °C hot air.

Whisk the yolks with a little milk.

Roll out the puff pastry and cut into strips about 1 cm wide. Wrap around the foam roll molds.

Brush the dough with the yolk. Place the rolls on the baking sheet and place in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Then remove and let cool completely. Then remove the molds.

In the meantime, prepare the filling. To do this, beat the egg whites with 30 g of powdered sugar and lemon juice until stiff.

Dissolve the remaining powdered sugar in the water and bring to the boil. Stir into the snow and pour the mixture into a piping bag.

Pipe the filling into the holes of the puff pastry rolls.

Serve the mini foam rolls sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Preparation Tip:

Small roll molds are used for the mini foam rolls. However, the recipe works just as well with normal sized foam roll molds.
