For the Pico de Gallo – Salsa wash the tomatoes and cilantro and shake off the herbs well.
Cut the tomatoes into small cubes, chop the onion, cilantro and chili peppers.
Now put everything in a bowl and mix with salt, garlic and the juice of 1-2 limes. Stir well, chill a bit more in the fridge if necessary and serve.
Pico de Gallo goes perfectly with Mexican food, is a welcome change at any barbecue or can simply be enjoyed with nachos.
Preparation Tip:
For a little variety, you can also mix half a diced cucumber or a diced avocado into the pico de gallo ingredients.
