Preparation For the dough, mix salt, yeast, flour, sugar, 125 ml of warm water and olive oil with a dough hook and rest for an hour with the lid closed.

For the topping, peel the onion and garlic clove. Cut the onion into cubes, press the garlic. Rinse and dice the tomatoes.

Mix garlic, onion, tomatoes, minced meat, 100 g of cheese and one egg. Season with pepper, salt, paprika and thyme.

Finish:

Briefly knead the dough again and roll it out to the size of a baking tray. Spread the paradeis pulp with 2 tbsp. of oil evenly on it. Then spread the minced meat mixture evenly on top.

Roll up the dough from the narrow side.

Cut the pizza roll into 6-12 slices with a sharp kitchen knife.

Place the snails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Mix the second egg and spread it on the snails. Spread the remaining cheese evenly on the snails and bake in a heated oven at about 220 °C top/bottom heat for 15-20 minutes.

Summary: The snails tasted good. However, a conventional pizza with the same ingredients would probably not have been any worse.
