Cut the pineapple into slices, peel them, remove the hard stalk and dice the slices. Score the pomegranates a few times from the calyx to the stem base and then peel them. Remove the white skins from the seeds if necessary, collecting any juice that escapes.

Pour the liqueur over the pineapple pieces and pomegranate seeds together with the fruit juice in the punch bowl and leave to cool for about 2 hours with the lid closed. Add half of the wine and let the punch stand for another hour. Now pour the remaining wine, stir and fill up with sparkling wine and mineral water.
