A bean recipe for every taste:

Soak beans in water for one night, drain and set aside.

Peel and dice onions, carrots and potatoes. Clean and rinse leeks and cut into rings. Peel and crush garlic clove.

Heat oil in a saucepan, sauté garlic in it. Add the onions. Gradually add carrots, potatoes and leeks to the saucepan, mix well and sauté for a while.

Add the beans, season with marjoram, savory and cumin. Pour vegetable soup, bring to a hearty boil, then reduce the temperature. With the lid closed, gently simmer the soup for about 50-60 min. Stir from time to time.

Cut the sausage into slices about 5 mm thick and add to the soup about 10 min before serving so that the sausage is still warm. Season to taste with vinegar, salt and freshly ground pepper.
