Instructions:

For pregnant women and nursing mothers: Fish with vegetables

Steam-cooking vegetables and fish is exceptionally gentle and low in fat. Instead of sole, you can also use fillets of haddock or possibly plaice, fresh or possibly frozen.

Heat the long grain rice in a saucepan, add the water, season with salt and let it boil for 40 minutes. Soak the mushrooms in cold water for 20 min. and rub with salt and pepper. Choose a plate that fits into a large cooking pot. Place the fillets on it. Rinse and clean the vegetables. Divide the young onion into 3 cm long increments and then cut into strips. Also cut the soaked mushrooms and the carrot into small strips. Finely dice the bell bell pepper. Spread the vegetables including bean sprouts evenly on the fillets, drizzle with soy sauce, juice of one lemon and sesame oil. Pour a hand’s width of water into the saucepan, place a mug inverted and place the plate on top. Let the water boil, put the lid on the pot and steam the fish for about 10 minutes.

Serve the long grain rice with the fish.

Sizes. Oil it lightly when cooking fish in it, otherwise it may stick.
