Instructions:

For the upside-down cake rhubarb, first wash and peel the rhubarb. Cut into pieces the length of the baking dish. Cut all pieces in half lengthwise. Place the rhubarb over a bowl in a colander and cover with sugar. Leave to juice overnight (at least 6 hours).

Grease the baking dish with the butter and place the drained rhubarb in it. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Beat the eggs with the sugar until foamy. Stir in the melted butter. Mix the flour, ground almonds, baking powder and salt and gently stir in. Then add the rose water.

Pour the batter over the fruit. Bake for 40 minutes. Upside-down cake rhubarb immediately after baking turn out onto a serving platter.
